The Whiteboardz in Corebound

The Whiteboardz are collaborating with Game Studio MythTech Games to produce the electrifying soundtrack for the new shooter, Corebound. Dive into the detailed world of this thrilling game below.

The Lobby

The lobby is a hub of entertainment, offering extensive character customization. Players can modify clothing, backgrounds, and profile pictures. Weapons are a highlight, with options for painting, adding stickers, key rings, and attachments. The run-and-gun ability, allowing players to sprint and shoot, is a fan favorite.

Gameplay

Central to Corebound is the MDU (Mobile Deployment Unit), available in various types like close-range swords, heavy shotguns, flamethrowers, or snipers, each affecting health and speed. Abilities include homing rockets and vortex shields that deflect bullets. Enemy players can board your MDU, countered by electric smoke, while teammates can ride along. Core abilities, which take time to charge, are the most powerful, ranging from laser beams to massive chain swords. Players compete to create overpowered combos. Custom self-destructs can trigger nuclear explosions or cloak the player. MDUs are highly customizable, with cores altering shapes (e.g., a flying rocket-heavy core with a lightweight backpack). Armor can be repainted with designs like a giant open mouth near the cockpit. The game offers two paid passes, CorePass and CorePass+, unlocking 500-800 new items, including spray paints, painter tools, profile pictures, weapons, and attachments.

Multiplayer Gamemodes

  • Capture the Flag: Two teams of eight compete to steal each other's flags and return them to their base to win.
  • Battle Royale: Inspired by the genre's popularity, players scavenge for guns and supply drops, with the last one standing victorious.
  • King of the Hill: Two teams of eight fight to control a zone, earning points for time spent in it. The team with the most time wins.
  • Bloodhound Classic: The player with the most kills wins.

Single Player

The single-player mode delivers a gripping storyline, challenging bosses, stunning graphics, and explosive action. You play as Vex, who enlists in the army in 2808 after losing her family to a tracking missile explosion. Excelling in training, Vex quickly rises from rifleman to pilot in the tutorial. As a pilot, you're introduced to your MDU, A9L98X (ALX), and practice at the firing range. En route to your first mission, your helicopter is shot down, but ALX breaks your fall. Ordered to regroup, this marks the thrilling start of the game.
